Erick Hoppe, a professional Web Developer based out of Los Angeles, California, created his first corporate website back in 1996 (for Allergan Pharmaceuticals). He subsequently went on to develop several enterprise-scale websites for major corporations, including Mattel and Hyundai Motors. Over the years, his natural curiosity and love for everything new has kept him exploring and experimenting with a wide variety of Web technologies and sectors, especially in areas of database-driven websites, community building, e-commerce, and dynamic interface design.
Erick's current focus revolves around building reliable, accessible, and standards-based websites using technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Joomla.
Erick has always believed that being a professional Web developer requires working from a user-first philosophy, being obsessive about the details, and possessing a deep conviction for continual improvement in the quality of one's skills and services.
While Erick's Web development experience might best be described as both wide and deep, it's the future of the Web, with its constant innovations and untapped potential, that keeps him really excited about the work he does.
